Every year, BG Ingénieurs Conseils encourages its employees to take one or more training courses. We see this as a great way to retain our employees and encourage them to move into another position and take on other responsibilities.

As a training company, the BG Group encourages the promotion of talent. Its corporate university, the BG Academy, allows it to provide targeted and quality training in the field of engineering, in order to promote the transfer of acquired skills, develop a centre of expertise and enhance the multiple skills of employees.

 

Benefits of in-company training

Increasing the skills of our staff allows us to improve productivity and ensure that our activities run smoothly. Thus, in-company training is part of the BG Group’s CSR policy (focus 2 – Commitment to the fulfilment and development of employees) and is considered a factor of competitiveness. Every year, the Group encourages and finances numerous external trainings, allowing employees to acquire “business” know-how to develop skills in their field or to consider a switch to a new situation. In 2021, we recorded nearly 900 absences for training.
